Fifteen months ago, my mother fell and broke her arm. Realizing that she needed more help that we were able to give her, I contacted ACC Home Care to find a caregiver who could help her get up and ready every morning. While our original thought was that the caregiver would stay while my mother healed, we quickly realized how the excellent level or care enriched both my mother’s and the rest of the family’s lives. Her caregiver has been with her ever since.
ALA has been wonderful to work with. Its office staff is helpful, efficient, easy to reach, and provide great customer service. Its caregivers are dependable, well trained and extremely caring. I receive regular updates on my mom’s condition and needs, and I never worry about her treatment. I have great confidence placing my mother’s care in ALA’s hands.
Sincerely,

Approximately 18 month ago, I retained ALA Home Care to provide personal care services for my mother in her home. During the time the agency provided care, the staff was courteous, timely, and professional. ACC Home Care staff communicated and updated our family on care issues regarding my mother.
We are satisfied with the care provided by ALA and would strongly recommend their agency to others in need of home care.
Sincerely,

Dealing
with the end of life and seeing beloved parent/spouse become completely dependent
on caregivers is not an easy experience for a family. I have known Connie Thompson of ALA for
several years and knew that she and her husband Mark were advocates for senior
care. One of my friends told me about a
year ago that when her mother-in-law needed care to remain in her home that she
used Connie and Mark’s company, ALA and felt that the care provided was
outstanding. Based on this and doing
research I urged my mother to used ALA for the care of my invalid father when
he was released from a skilled nursing center.
Prior to my dad’s release, Lynn Coleman, ALA’s Director of Homecare came
to my parent’s home and to Pueblo Norte to access the needs of my father
Bernard.
Having
my father home has meant a great deal to my mother and if it were not for the
care provided by ALA this would not be possible. Shirley, our caregiver has made sure that my
father has been able to maintain his dignity while providing the most basic of
care. She understands that my mother
wants to retain the ability of cooking meals and still having some control of a
life that seems out of control. Shirley
is always professional in her approach to care and is meticulous in following
instructions given to my mother by visiting nurses and physical
therapists. She notes what care has been
given to my father. In addition, she is
becoming a trusted friend.
If
every you family comes to the point in life where caregivers are necessary for
you or your family members, I would strongly advise that you use the care
provided by Connie Thompson’s firm, ALA Home Care. You will receive professional care, but will
never feel that you are just another number.
