Mark was elected to the Arizona House of Representatives in 2003 and served one term.  During his tenure, Mark was selected as chairman of the House Human Services Committee.  Mark also served on the Health, Appropriations, and Transportation Committees.  Mark is a member of the following civic organizations:  East Valley Legislative Committee on Aging; Maricopa Elder Abuse Prevention Alliance (MEAPA); and, The Centers for Habilitation.  Mark has consulted on the development of over 250 assisted living facilities over the past 15 years.  Before starting his business in 1990, Mark worked with the Arizona Department of Economic Security for over 12 years.  During his service to the state, Mark surveyed residential care facilities and served on a tiger team investigating Medicaid fraud.

Connie is a registered nurse and served as a Governor's appointee on the Board of Nursing Care Institution Administrators and Assisted Living Managers.  Connie also is a member of the Maricopa Elder Abuse Prevention Alliance (MEAPA) and the East Valley Legislative Committee on Aging.  Connie has also served on the Chandler Mayor's Committee on Aging.  Connie developed an training course for managers and caregivers in assisted living facilities and trained hundred of managers and caregiver over the past decade.  Before starting her business, Connie worked as a surveyor for the Arizona Department of Health Services and was an executive for a large Arizona home health agency.
